Simply put, the best base materials for NamPower brushing tools are stainless steel, low and medium carbon steels, and cast iron. These are the same base materials that manufacturers surface-finish and deburr with silicon carbide (SC) Flex-Hone® tools.
Flexible hones aren’t for OD applications, but consider which abrasive is used in many NamPower tools.
